The Online Communities of Gun lake, Hastings, Middleville, Caledonia, Wayland, and Otsego are offering a space on the web pages of these communities for news or views of the surrounding area. Got some good news of the area, publish it here. Have a view you want to express. Well here's your chance. Just send us your news or views article and we will publish it here. As articles are printed, you may have a comment or correction to make. Just mention the article heading and give us your comment about the article. Now's your turn to report what you think should be reported. There are guide lines listed below and we reserve the right not to publish what you contribute based on the guide lines below.

Basically, we'd like to get the "good news" that we don't see in the normal print media. Of course there is always room for the complaints you may also have. Except for the guide lines, all comments and content are by the contributors. We are not responsible for content or inaccuracies. Discover an inaccuracy, send it your correction or view of the article you find inaccurate. All submissions must have the name of the contributor and a short title.

Guidelines:

Proper language. These pages are available to all ages.
No hate or degrading comments.

In comments to an article - debate it rationally with out name calling etc.
Try to stay away from politics and religion except where necessary for the meaning of the article.
Your name must appear with your article or view. You are responsible for the accuracy and content.
We do not take responsibility for your content.
Most news and views should be about the area around the six online communities or of value to those areas.
We reserve the right not to publish what you send to us.
We will also take into consideration the removal of an article or view if someone objects to its being placed on our News and Views pages, if they provide a valid reason.
